"This heres a story about billy joe and bobbie sue
Two young lovers with nothin better to do
Than sit around the house, get high, and watch the tube
And here is what happened when they decided to cut loose
They headed down to, ooh, old el paso
Thats where they ran into a great big hassle
Billy joe shot a man while robbing his castle
Bobbie sue took the money and run
Go on take the money and run
Go on take the money and run
Go on take the money and run
Go on take the money and run"

some nice "Steve Miller" to along with a great deal.
dude...I would be handing those keys over faster than a twin turbo hayabusa down I-95. what am I talking about, those keys would already be in that guy's hands.
on the counter, the 03 and early 04 6.0s ARE the ones to have. a lot less problems, other than some wiring issues and the injector problems.
however, you wouldn't see me paying that kind of money for a ragged out 03.

i know right lol. The father is going to meet me this week with cash, and ill hand the truck over when the bank hands me my lien.
im excited lol. ill have both truck payments finnaly gone and ill have one regular payment when i get my new diesel ;)
hey hey, do you work at a dealer? If so do you recommend any salesman or dealers that would be better then others? Im looking to get a quad cab superduty twin turbo and want to hook up with a decent dealership that will be less assholish then century ford mt airy.

Stuff usually moves pretty fast over there. (That lot used to be on my way home, so I would stop in fairly often to browse.)
Good Luck.
On a side note the Ford Dealership right down the road from there ( http://johnstuckeyford.dealerconnection.com/?lang=en ) had two New Dually King Ranches last week and I assume they still do.

yeah man, I work up here in t-town at crouse ford. I am one of the "two" diesel techs up here. it is pretty chill up here. I only drive about five minutes to work, so that is pretty nice.
as for the truck inventory, we have a black with tan f-450 and then some 250 and 350s. I am not sure, but I think the 450 is a lariat and not a king raunchy. I could be wrong though.
all the salesmen up here are pretty cool. b-dog's dad is one of the managers up here.
just let me know if I can help.
on a different note, about your water in the fuel light, you can just get the sensor for just about 30 bucks. someone must had priced you out the whole pump manifold. even though you might have needed that since your plug was destroyed.

the chick that is buying the ford allready got it. its the entire thing. not my concern anymore.
Whats your take on the new tt 6.4's? I havnt heard anything bad about them in ages.
hey...hey

the early ones have had some problems, but they seem to be getting a little better. we just had one in here with #2 and #8 cylinders toast, but I believe that was an early one. we will see.
p.s. don't plan on doing any work on it yourself, unless you have the know how and a lot of time. everything is crammed in the engine compartment, and some of the stuff requires cab removal per FORD. plus, these things don't have the easy-diag high press. oil system anymore. now it all fuel on fuel.
Why in the hell would you have a design that requires a cab removal? How many hours does that take?
its not a removal, so much as it is a lift up. They aren't taking it off completely just unattaching from the frame in order to get it up and out of the way a little.

basically the opposite way they came down the assembly line.
yeah, we basically seperate the cab from the truck. on the 6.0s, we can have them in the air in about an hour and a half. as for the new ones, that are "designed to be removed", a tad longer. eventhough the newer ones have the abs module attached to the framerail, so no longer do you have to bleed the brakes.
yup...all in a days work. and you said that techs get paid too much...not enough more like it. oh well. job security at it's finest!
So Ford now plans for their trucks to need to have their cab removed. Therefore they plan ahead for FAIL. No thanks.
Check craigslist and see how many Fords are for sale. Then do the same for cummins and Duramax. Everyone wants to get rid of the ford and get into the others. just my .02
