stereo

so i have a kenwood stereo in my bronco and the damn thing skips when on the radio, like your playing a jacked up cd. so i checked my power wires and they were good, (everything is sodered toghther and has wire nuts on them) anyone have a idea what it could be? also it is a newer stereo and it just started this problem.

Are you sure the speaker wires are solid too? What about the power connection at the stereo?

Does the entire radio display blink when this happens?

the stereo doesnt blink, and i put in new speakers and new wire at the same time. all 4 of the speakers skip at the same time, and i checked all the conections.

Sounds like the stereo might be bad. Could be a cold solder joint on one of the boards.
