XJ Linkage

Ok, so the transfer case swap went well, after finding and fixing a broken motor mount. DUH

But now the linkage ain't right. Has anybody used this from Novak? Thinking of giving it a try.

I just did a 231/sye swap due to breaking my 242 twice. As soon as I get a few other things tied away I will be doing the Novak setup. Heard good things on Naxja about it. I know it used to reverse your shift pattern (no biggie) but I believe thay have sorted that out now. Which case did you swap in?

I just traded in another 231 but with a sye, problem is the Xmember and linkage is so buggered up that the linkage binds and will not go into 4low.

Anyone got a XJ Xcrossmember thats not too banged up? I could use one.

I dont know if this will help but this is a cheaper solution that is easily done at home.

I did the Novak a few weeks ago and its the best upgrade out there. Nice firm shifts and no guessing or fighting with the sloppy factory setup..

When you order make sure you tell them your exact setup and ask what the shift pattern will be. It reversed my shift pattern and they sent the wrong shifter knob.. Not a big deal but the pattern is wrong on the top of the shifter.

I like the reverse pattern with 4 low at the top.
