I dunno what my wheelbase is...close to stock 4runner wheelbase... I need bigger tires to go with it, but it's nice for climbing.

103.5"
Works great, I wouldn't go too much longer though, you can conquer some pretty extreme terrain with a 100" wheelbase.

104" (stretched 2" in the front and 8" in the rear)
Linked rear and 39's
After one trip with the linked rear I can't believe it took me this long to change.

105 buggy and 105 jeep and whatever a stock a stock YJ is.
I've also had 108 and 103 and 105 is about perfect.
The 108 was a climbing mofo in my first buggy, 103 in the first moonbuggy was very nimble yet also climbed well with water in the tires.

106 in the Scrambler with 37's and I am happy with it. It really depends what YOU want to do with the rig as to what is best. Tire size makes a big difference too.

I am planning on a 37-40 tire and beating it like it owes me money.
Not really sure on the over all plan yet, thinking soa with a hp60 and a 14bolt full hydro and a cage.

For a fun trail rig 105 to 110 should climb well. If you need to back up once or twice to make a turn, no one cares but if you can't make that bad@ss climb they are all going to laugh at you.

I agree, I'm running 109 on 36's. Good wheel base length for climbing but a bit too long and low for steep break over angles.

Also running a Scrambler, but with 35s. Wheel base makes a huge difference over my old CJ7. On-road driving and climbing are way better in comparison. Now I need to figure out how to justify some larger tires...
