Just some photos of the recent work done to the samurai

Todays progress

new retainers for the lower mounts

slimmed down dash for those that havent seen it. Everything has been rewired as well.

next weekend, front axle overhaul and exhaust (ditching the stack to clear up storage room), with some attention to the brakes. Also ordering a twin stick. and it is still for sale.

Everything looks good but the dash:flipoff2:
That was the nicest touch the sammi had!(including the birdsh!t that held it together)

Do you think the lower retainers will solve the problem of the coils falling out?

I flexed it out with my hoist, and the suspension bottoms out before the coil would pop out.

Cool, the test will be the first rollover.

It was classic because that's the only time they would fall out and it added to the yard sale effect.

don't have any. kicking around the idea of repainting it, since pink, red, green, and black are showing in various spots. I have to paint the new hood anyway, so I was thinking of stripping it, and repaint it a rattlecan red thats close to the original red.
