Picked out what seem ideal seats for my need, Corbeau Baja RS - suspenson seats that recline, allowing backseat access. Sweet.

Which way to go?

Vinyl - dosn't soak up water, stains, etc. But gets hot/sticky in the sun.

Cloth - will stain, absorb rain/sweat etc, but not as bad in heat.
Preferences? I was gonna go vinyl until I thought about the hat thing.

I'll go w/ grey either way just to cut down on heat.

(and if anybody knows of a deal to score, let me know!)

I like the cloth.
It depends on whether you prefer your wet ass in the rain or the sun.

I bought these exact seats about a year ago.
I love them, they are perfect if you need backseat access.

After a few hard rides (mind these are bumpy-ass races) you can tell the seat is already flattening ou ta bit, but they are still waaaaay bettert han the factory seats.

I hadt his same debate, I think there was even a thread here.
I settled on the grey vinyl, mostly for ease of cleaning. But that's also b/c they are i na truck cabin and will probably get muddy/damp but shouldn't be soaked, liek might happen in an open-top vehicle.

BTW the extra sliding/mounting kits for them SUCK. The holes didn't line up right at all, and the frame is a bit flimsy, it has already twisted/squished down a bit. If you plan to push it hard and have the time/skills, make your own bracket.

Oh and re: deals - I looked everywhere and the price was pretty much the same from anybody, $299 each.
