Anybody else going?

They extended the deadline to register on-site, and upped the prize $$ for the "pro-class" buggies etc.

Also added a race for sid-by-side ATVs on te hsame track, that hsould be interesting.

AFAIK I'm the only one running a stock(ish) IFS rig.

Oh yeah, it was awesome for sure.
Unfortunately my performance was, er, less than stellar. got kinda screwed, they had it posted as having pre-run time1-7 Friday, I showed up at 6 and they were cutting off the course saying it was time to shut down, wouldn't let me run it. Grrrr. So Sat I hit it running cold, only vague memories from the pre-run over a month ago. Plus while we were waiting to take off at start line, it was hot & i turned on teh A/C - my dumb ass forgot to turn it off... 4rnr w/ 4cyl A/T and A/C blasting = sloooow lol stupid me

Yes, the whole "Woody in the lake" bit was flat out scary. I was one of the first to run downthere when they anounced it, all you could see was 3/4 of 1 Trepador sticking upout of the water. Aparently he barrel rolled in, hit the turn way to fast, bounced right through/overt he log barrier and landed flat upside down i na good 8-10 ft water. Lucky SOB, another 5 feet over it's 18'+.
Aparently he went to swim out his window, was blocked by mud wall, had to swim to pass side and knock out the webbing and swim out, barely made it. Many folks I know would not have been so lucky.

There's a hill right in the front spectator's line of sight that was giving people trouble all day, too big to be a reasonable jump w/ an upward hil lright behind it... The guy right before me (from Wilson Offroad) hit it too fast and landed nose in, stopped in his tracks. He signaled quit right there... pulled out by paramedics... found out later he fractured 3 vertebrae.
After that and Woody's swim - I gotta admitit took a bit out of my sails.

Otherwise, no major insuries, some humorous carnage - one guy forgot to disable airbags, they deployed in their face on a hard hit lol.
