View Full Version : Parents jeep stolen.

Sometime between 8pm last night and 3am this morning my parents jeep was stolen. It is a black 99 jeep cherokee, stock height, stock tires. The jeep has oem jeep mudflaps. The lisc plate is maryland bow hunter's society so there is a BH stacked vertically on the left and the number 0099. It is a unique plate and should stand out. The jeep was immaculate and cleaner than most daily drivers since it never got driven. It's hard to say how it would look after the thieves get done.

Please keep an eye out for it.

I am in Virgina but I will keep an eye out. BTW, a friend's full steel doors were stolen for a TJ. They are a navy blue color. It was in Charlestown WV.

My father got a call today that the jeep was found on the 6th parked behind a nearby florist. The cops said besides the busted ignition it looked in good shape. Thanks to anybody that was keeping an eye out for it!

busted ignition.......and the overwhelming stench of crack and splouge. that may have been there before.

so.....totaled....new trail rig?

If I had to guess I'd say the ins company would rather pay to replace the ignition instead of an entire vehicle. It will probably serve as a second vehicle for another year or two then it will get handed down and join my fleet as a DD (I dont need a third xj trail rig).

rad. just told yr dad yesterday i was confident they'd find it. better check it good for dope, pipes and needles. gives me the creeps thinking about what happened in there.

No way.
I'm quite sure they only took it b/c they had no other way to get their sick grandma to the hospital.
