We have completed our fund drive in honor of Alan's son, Anthony Alan (Tony) Thomas. As we did this, we had in mind the others in the club who have been touched by cancer (Heather & Jeremy, Alex, Stacy, and too many others that are not coming to mind at this convenient time).
Please feel a sense of pride that you are doing something positive to progress science and to help folks as they deal with incomprehensible emotional challenges. Alan let us know that the ACS is an organization that deserves our hard-earned dollars:
"Last year Tony had to travel to Indianapolis for treatment at Indiana University. He was at IU for four months of inpatient treatment. ACS helped Tony and his wife Jessica find an apartment near the hospital at a reduced rate so she could be with Tony through his treatment. It helped them immensely at a time when they were facing the prospect of high-risk therapy in a strange city a long way from home. I can't think of a more appropriate cause to benefit from a donation in Tony's name."
If you did not get a chance to contribute during our campaign, please consider following this link to make a donation:

Nice job folks!
