View Full Version : 2000 F250 Manual hubs
Well at least one hub on the new truck is perma-locked. I need to replace them. There are at least a few manufacturers for hubs out there. Who should I go with?

Either factory replacement or Warn.
I seem to remember Mike (AOI) saying that he had some Warn ones in stock. I will ask him about it.
Factory parts are pricey.

You should take that hunk of junk back and get a refund.
Check the rotors, I dont remember if he ever put the good one on there.

Warn.
actually on my SuperDuty I am running the set of factory warns that came off of the 1978 Dana 60 under my Jeep:)
I have a pair of rotors for it. Believe it or not the old ones passed inspection. Need new parking brake shoes too. Gotta make a trip to NAPA.
Arent you always supposed to replace the pads when you do rotors?

If I remember right he had worn one side down to metal on metal. He changed the pads but not the rotors. I cant remember if he ever went back and changed out the one gouged up rotor.
If they didnt look at the back of the rotor then they wouldnt have known.
Well my MSI guy was a bit biased
*edit* Just got off the phone with Mike and new Warn hubs are purchased and should be in the mail shortly. :)
