Anyone else make these things and aren't quite to proud of them? I need 4, but I'm not dishing out $150 to get them.

Rockhard maybe? They use them on their cages I think.

ballistics got them for 28 ea. before the pirate discount. Not that much better but if you absolutely need 4 of those I think that will be your best option.

Of course they add another $4 for the 1.75 size. I don't want to get into that crap shoot with getting them.

Good call. They're even flat on one side, which would make life easier.

What I'm trying to do is make a removable door bar for both sides. It needs to serve as the bottom of the window net.

I like that idea, I don't like spending $120 on them though. I went a little crazy this year with dropping coin on parts.

why not just make a bracket similar to this out of some scrap tube

then it would be removable with just 2 bolts and you could probably attach it to your cage with very few mods.

Why not just whip up something like Mike did for his mirrors... The bar isn't really going to be structural right?

Cheaper than the rest, and they have a nice flat spot for welding.

Just some round tube he cut in half and welded tabs on each side iirc.

Kane made them. I wanted to rip off the liquid iron industries ones who ripped off the idea from someone else.
