Would you guys be competing as an exhibition because of WEROCK?

don't think so, pretty sure they eliminated the pro rule.

You should run your new rig and have AJ get out of the truck for once!

Not enough level terrain for a spotter chair.
Seriously though.....we are considering it.
We'll be putting my treps on the right wheels tonight.
I got the seats mounted.
I need to bleed the brakes.
The rear winch is broke. I may have a 3k one that will work.

It would be good to see you behind the wheel. Good luck getting it together. I don't have a ATV winch, but I do have a ton of other buggy parts in the garage. If there is anything you might need that I may have, please don't hesitate to ask.

Stu, I do have a 3K Bulldog that you can use.

I think the RCRocs would be a good run to test the rig out after working on it.

Where do you all think you'll be camping? I might be up on Saturday but I'll be wheeling if I make it.

It depends on how crowded it is when the first guy gets there. :)
It seems like we usually end up along the back edge of the tent area, furthest from the office.

I'd say just to look for the Happy Bear hauler. I'm sleeping in the Dodge.

Yeah I figured that should be easy to spot. General direction couldnt hurt to give me a place to start looking. I'll assume then back the same way as the last time I was up there.

Woah, if people are giving away parts, my rear winch isn't working either.
Dan, can you bring the relays from your 3K bulldog? I think that is all that's wrong with mine.

I'll be up Saturday for some wheeling. Anyone have a grill or something to cook some dinner on? I got about nothing for camping but a tent and sleeping bag.

There's a grill built into the side of the RV
There will also be a food vendor, Paulie's cooking, with some good bbq and burgers on site. Hanover Inn is doing wings after the comp as well.

Good god.....
AJ and I broke down the six lug double beads and took the treps off. Broke down the eight lug beads and took the 42 tsls off. Put the treps on the eight lug beads.
That's a lot of tires and bolts.
I have a nice hit list for tomorrow still.

It is down at Andy's right now. If someone can grab it for you, the whole thing is new in the box.

stu what is it with you and buying rigs with broken rear winches:flipoff2: get that shit done and compete, you deserve to be in the drivers seat for once.

I don't know man....must be the expensive warn winches. My little crappy gorilla winches always work. One of them is on the TW2 right now.
The problem with me driving my own stuff is that I break stuff.

I am glad to see I am not the only one. I seem to keep rigs together way longer if I stay in front of them spotting rather than in the driver seat.

I haven't had much luck keeping AJ from pushing too hard. He now has an overbuilt truck that should keep him from breaking it. I'm seriously going to put a remote throttle kill in. Maybe the gas pedal needs to be on my side.

Just be glad he doesn't have Smiley's motor.

Smileys motor is just silly.
Word is that he blew up his arb and twisted his rcv's.

I'm not going to make the comp. I may still get the new truck up for a trail run. But that will be all.......and that's a little on the iffy side as well.

I didnt watch any of the comp but I had a good day wheeling. Checked out the Northeast property and there are some nice areas with lots of potential.
Ran trail 31 then Shane bailed due to steering issues. Headed back out to check out Upper and Lower Talisman which we though were marked. Got over there and couldnt see any trail markings or tire tracks so we opted not to run any of the big rocks as we were worried about getting into something with no exits. After that we shot over to Devil's Den and ran it. Nice trail that claimed a valve stem but no other damage.
Got that changed and headed over to the comp area for some lunch. Hit the trails again and ran trail 5 up to the hill climb then jumped on the access road down to Yellow Jacket then over to trail 8. Shot over to the South property and ran down J1 to 11 and then down to trail 16. (I think anyway might have been 13) Ran that down to Rock Creek and jumped out on there for a ways to bypass 2 rigs on 13 then over to 13 once we got past them. Took that all the way down to trail 20 and ran all of that including up the left line of Pitman rock. Man that is dug out since I was last there which has been a while.
Then on to 12B I think to 15 then down to 11 and over to Big Rocks. Made the first one between the trees, finally got up the second one and got denied on the 3rd one that has the notch. After that ran some side stuff here and there on way back to the comp area. Hit one section of Gauntlet and then a couple other obstacles and finally called it a day.
Killer day of wheeling.

Pearson and I finished up 6th out of 8. We had a rough day, there were a few wicked climbs that kicked our ass and messed up our run for the rest of the course.
No mechanical issues with the rig besides not having radio communication and being without a rear suckdown winch.

This pic is from the shootout. The climb on the 1st gate was very technical after it owned us I laid down a 5 minute burnout trying to free myself. Yes, this is ALL tire smoke

After I stopped Pearson got tripped up and fell on the tire, he has two of the lugs burned into his forearm. Yes it is true, Pit Bulls really soften up once you "warm them up"

I also successfully did an end over end roll on the first course going through the last gate without hitting any cones. I landed on the tires, backed straight out of the finish gate and took a -3 for the course

I'm hoping to see some pictures or video. I normally have pretty good bearings during a rollover and have a good handle of whats happening. I really wasn't expecting this and it only happened because my front tires were full to the very top with water so when it started I was kind of like wtffffffffffff. The front end planted, I blipped the throttle, the rear end drove straight over and before I knew it I was sitting right side up.
