Greetings all.

I just recently purchased my first Jeep, a 98 TJ to be specific. I have to get it through the dreaded Maryland Inspection and was wondering if anyone has had better luck or knows of a " jeep Friendly " inspection station in the area of Glen Burnie, Annapolis, Pasadena or Baltimore ?

I actually live in The Dena

The jeep has 3.5 inches of lift with 33 Swampers on it that stick out.

I do have a set of rollers i can put on it that will pass, but I really would love to NOT have to pull off the lift and make it stock again.

As a newb .... any advice you all have would be greatly appreciated

some places are cool with lifts, put the rollers on, don't expect the rest of the inspection to go easy though, if they let ya off easy on the lift, they'll probably get ya for anything else they find.

other than the lift there really is not too much else modified - it does have LED tail lights instead of the standard bulb types.

Will that get me too in your opinion ?

the lift might just pass through .... the tail lights probably wont they are not reflective enough and usually not dot approved, your going to need to find yourself 3 brake lights and a set of tires that dont stick out

Or some cheap ass flares that cover them...

Keep in mind that technically, even once it passes, you can still get a ticket later for the tires/flares thing.
