Is anyone interested in industrial overhead garage lights? I dont know what to do with these, but my company just replaced the lights in one of our garages and the company who replaced them left the old lights behind. There are about a dozeon of them but I dont know what they are worth.

I know that this is probably not the best place to post this, but I dont know if there is a market to list them for sale.

Go here and use the catalog number to see if you can find out anything about them. http://www.holophane.com/default.asp

From a quick look it appears the 1st 4 characters are the model or line and the rest are options. The 400 in the catalog number = 400 watts, which it is. The rest are other various options. I think.

They might not make that line any more or have renamed it but I bet if you call or email they can tell you everything about them.

I believe they are High Pressure Sodium... were they yellowish light when they were lit? If they are metal halide I am interested..... MH is white and HPS is yellow and yucky

Here is a little more info They are a Metal Halide light 400w. Not sure if they all come with multi volt ballasts or not. One I have at home is similar is.
Can wire on 110, 220, 277, 480, 600v. All in the way you wire it.

Catalogue # is MB5A series, MH is metal Halide MT is Multivolt QDE is Quick disconnect guessing it has a clip for hanger. Not sure. Just going by industry standard cat # designations.
