Anyone know of anything semi local to Mount Airy? I need two fittings and I'd rather not have to pay more on shipping than the items are worth.

Yeah I got a hold of one place. They have one fitting and are checking on the other. I guess I just need to drive around and look for a shop. I know there are a couple here in town and I forget about them when looking for stuff.

Get on fastenall and do a search for "37deg" it's a JIC fitting which is industrial and the same as -an.

There is also a race shop on RT 1 called autofab and they normally stock an fittings.

What fitting do you need?

I got a bunch of JIC stuff from Surplus center. I needed a -6 AN to hose barb and a -6 AN to metric fitting for the steering box. Got both at a local shop. A tad over priced IMO but in my hand today.

I'll have to remember Fastenall.

Jared, Colliflower on Rt 40 is the cheapest in our area and they have a real good selection also... There is a place up in Street that can do them, but they are super expensive.

They helped me out with a custom brake line and were pretty reasonable on price I thought.

Frederick Performance Center up rt15 between Frederick and Thurmont has a ton of stuff in stock. Usually where I pick up any last second things that I might have forgot to order. Scott is a 3 second racer and stocks tons of stuff.

I've seen the one over on Airport before I think. I went to Total Performance yesterday. On Ridgeville Road underneath Direct Electric I think it was.
