My friend Tim just did a 6.0 vortec swap and had it running for 15 mins to find water leaking out of the heads.
Who can recommend a reputable engine shop with chevy gen 3 experience and a quick turnaround time?

I would make two phone calls:
1. Jim's Performance in Ellicot City; ask him who he recommends.
2. Marty Brown's in Glen Burnie. Ask Marty if he'll do the work and if not, who he recommends. Marty has a great reputation locally and I've personally seen the results of his work and am impressed so much that I planned on making the same call to him once I'm ready.

Hence the quick turn around time:flipoff2:
He got his tune from Jim's and he's calling him tomorrow, just wanted to see if anyone on here had personal experience.

I had George at Eldersburg Automotive Machine ((410) 549-4166). He rebuilt the SBC in my Scrambler a few years ago. Super nice, meticulous, stand up guy. I would not hesitate to have him spend my money.
No idea if he has done much on the 3 gen motors.:flipoff2:
