So apparently a good number of people have work to be done before this wheeling season. And sometimes you just need two or more people to do something. I don't have anything I need done really, but I thought i'd suggest the idea of a traveling wrenching team. Whatever guys can get together make a stop at Alan's one weekend, then Dan's and then JT's or whatever rotation works. Host supplies pizza and beer. I think if we all pitch in we can get each other's shit done faster.

One of mine is barely streetable, if that counts, although it can't be wheeled without some work.
What I could really use is some help with my truck in the next few weeks. It appears that the work needed on it is over my head.

Mine will be at icebreakers prob won't make the club ride. I need to replace a front diff, rebuild both knuckles, replace power steering pump, brake booster/master cylinder, and I'd like to flat belly or at least beef up my tranny crossmember. But I'm not ready to call in reinforcements yet I'm doing better then normal :flipoff2:.

What is on JTs list?
The zebra only needs some steering bolts tightened.
The black xj needs the battery charged or replaced then find the starting issue that happens when it rains.
The buggy project has a pretty long list like plumb brakes, tiny amount of wiring, hydro lines, fab drive shafts.

Ballistic kit is "pre-ordered" (supposed to ship the end of next week)

Hopefully I can borrow an engine crane from Tony or Bosley and get started on the motor swap sooner than later.

Nothing exciting. Replacing the 4.0 in the YJ with the one out of my XJ. The one currently in the YJ smokes like a freight train if I let it idle for longer than a minute and it sounds like something inside wants to come out. Putting a 14 bolt in the rear, CJ hood/grill, and have Brandon paint it to match my 4bt CJ. Staying spring over for now.
Trying to keep the wrenching to a minimum so I can actually get out and wheel this year.

Hope everyone got a lot done this weekend.
After I got home from the wedding yesterday afternoon I headed up to the garage and finished cleaning the injectors and fuel rail, reinstalled the fuel rail, cleaned the fuel filters and buttoned the fuel system back up.
I also installed a new O2 sensor and a nice new fresh rear driveshaft (Thanks Tom Woods Custom Driveshafts!).
I'm hoping there's a chance the O2 sensor is part of these computer issues I've been trying to track down. I'll find out after a test drive tonight maybe.

Also, I'll bring that 110 compressor, some airtools, and hose. Man you really want to start drinking early dont you? I have my electric impact and was thinking the cordless might be good. I'm not sure about powering the compressor with the crappy wiring in this old house.
