stock springs from an 87 4-runner. go figure. they even fit the stock mounts, may need boomerang shackles, have to flex it and find out.


shackle angle. keep in mind the back of this thing is empty and I have no fuel tank in it at the moment.

Did you measure the new wheelbase yet? Looks like you got a good bit out of those springs :cheers:

just measured it, its sitting at about 99/100"


(I have the front axle forward like 2-3" also)

I fully aware of this. they kinda dont stretch anything if you put them the other way :p

like I said, I had them laying around, and they do what I wanted them to do(move axle backwards). I'll test them out memorial day weekend, if they break/bend/suck, oh well, I'm out nothing but some time. and if it doesnt work out, well then I'll just link it :p

Be sure to update us as to how the testing goes. If it works out for you I would consider trying it on my YJ.

I've used the same springs on the front on a Jeepster....

well they flexed great, but I destroyed this set because I ran out of time before our trip and never got to build a traction bar.

dont have any good pics of the rear yet, but you can kind of see it here. also note I didnt have long enough shocks on there, so they could have drooped out more.
