Aux fuel tank

Any one here ever make one for your tow rig?
I'm thinking of make one with a 33 fuel tank off a dump truck(i think that's what it came off of)
guy at work made one but for a diesel. this would be for a tundra. i would make it a gravity feed one.

want a little more range when towing and don't feel like spend 600+ for one of the after market ones.

i dont think you can transport gasoline in a transfer tank legally since it is so much more flamable.

No issue transporting it in the bed but you have to tie it into the fuel line with a fuel shutoff from the main tank. If not it will overfill the tank and fill the emissions canister (or whatever it's called) with fuel.

So i got the tank it had diesel in it. how should i clean this out so i can run gas in it?
