Me too; at least once per week. I assumed it was the gov't's proxy servers.

I assumed it was the gov't's sniffers sucking all the personal information out of people's home computers.

That's what I thought too.

Ditto. Seems random, one moment it flakes out, close/refresh, it works.
Damn government.

could you guys be a little more specific? what are you using to connect marylandcreeprs.com or www.marylandcreepers.com (http://www.marylandcreepers.com). What kind of error are you getting, or what happens?

No clue what a DNS is, but the site has been crazy slow, with some pages that won't load, for about a week.

Same here. Johnny's pictures wouldn't load until about the third time I visited that thread.

I am not getting any errors, its just slow and will hang on loading. So far its not browser specific at least as far as Safari and Firefox are concerned. I am connecting to http://marylandcreepers.com and its been over the last two days or so that I've noticed it.

Also its not mattered if I tried connecting from home (Comcast), work (AT&T) or the doctor's office (no idea, it was free wifi) so I dont think its ISP specific.

Also its not always slow, sometimes it loads just fine. But its typically be slower than not over the last 2 days or so.

Ditto on what frosty said. Although I have not tried different browsers. If it does not load I just refresh about a minute later and it works fine. Sometimes I have to refresh a couple times, but it always loads eventually.

Just an FYI, I talked to Chris late last night and he reset some services. Since then, I haven't had any issues. If they continue for anyone else, please post up to let us know.

looks like some of it might have been caused by a sudden surge in crawls from a russian bot for the search site yandex.ru. Not sure what caused our sudden popularity in Russia but in the first week of this month we had 10 times more hits from that than the google bot. I am seeing a lot of people complaining about it stealing a lot of bandwdith and not following the normal robot rules so I'm putting in a few different things to try and cut it down.
