The easiest way is to take it to the shop and let someone else remove it

Lasers are too hot. You will damage your pathetic unibody on your Cavalier. Use liquid nitrogen to freeze the bolt then hit it with a punch and hammer to get the Terminator 2 effect on the bolt. It just doesn't get any easier than that.

I have had luck with:
Cutting a slot in them and using a Large straight blade screwdriver and HEAT
Squaring off a few sizes and using a wrench or vise grips and HEAT
and
Using a Pair of Robo-Grip Pliers ( http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_12605_00930011000P?mv=rr ) and HEAT

Oddly enough, it's been the hardest thing for Frank to fix.

I had luck using Craftsman "Screw Out" on a stripped torx. Kinda like those things on the infomercial but with a warranty. :D

EDIT - assuming you mean the head is stripped.. not the threads..

drill it out and re-tap it
If you know the size and can go slightly smaller then the threads after you drill, you can run a tap down it and reuse the same size bolt

Thanks for all the replies, but this was a test thread. :D
I usually just leave my stripped torx in place and move on to the next project. Who needs mirror movers and windshield mounted lights anyway?

Not me. Dumbass gave me access to log in via SSH, but didn't give me permissons to copy files.

You should be able to upload individual smilies via the admin control panel
