I just got pictures of my Dad's addition:
The whole place is insulated including the majority of the floors.

Coal Storage, one tri axle at a time:

Main Garage 45x30 ish

The "Showroom" 14x45
http://i125.photobucket.com/albums/p42/bretkeller/utf-8BSU1HMDA0MzEuanBn.jpg
The boiler room (14x35) is outfitted with a monster coal fired boiler feeding it with a homemade automated conveyer/auger system. This will heat the floors in the garage, the house, and the water.

He's 2.8 miles from me. I'm going to try and shoe horn my buggy in there when it's complete and heated.

Your garage is awesome. When you get a chance, mind posting the details (size, materials, manufacturer etc)?

My polebarn was
Built by fetterville
http://fettervillesales.com/
Aj (at least I think it was AJ my memory on the member might be foggy) used them and was happy so I called them based on his recommendation and would recommend them myself to another person.
Designed by me (literally) ;)
Original conceptional drawing for what I wanted in a garage:
http://www.dodgestang.com/emAlbum/albums/2007-05-07%20Polebarn%20Complete%20Build/_overlay/barndesign.jpg
Took about 20 minutes of talking with the guy before he had that 'AH HA' moment when he was at the house working on an estimate.
Refined using computer software (excel...lol) after talking to fetterville that I used to supply the county for permits
http://www.dodgestang.com/emAlbum/albums/2007-05-07%20Polebarn%20Complete%20Build/_overlay/finalbarn.jpg
32x40 pole barn
20x40 lean-to partially enclosed and opened to the main barn.
Makes it a 52x40 concrete pad with 2050 interior sq ft.
2 12x10 insulated (fancy dancy) garage doors
4 windws on south side
1 man door
1 bi-fold sliding door
14 foot interior ceilings in main pole barn
10 foot ceilings in lean-to
Just a simple pole barn, pressure treated construction with steel panels. Roof is insulated. I have plans to insulate the walls inside and put on up interior walls but for now it is still in its unfinished raw state.
Day everything was finished:

2.5 yrs later at my latest party:
http://www.dodgestang.com/emAlbum/albums/2009-08-01%20Mini-Feed%206/_overlay/IMG_3667.JPG
I ran 100 amp service to it, added a bunch of lights, put on some outside lights, and put all my crap in it (and a bunch of other people's crap because that is what happens when you have a big space)....been very happy with it. Only think I have left that is making me sad because I haven't done it yet is install the jack screw garage door openers and the 4 post lift.

Those look great, but I would be scared to run a jack across the floor! My garage is used for building, fixing, and modifying. Its not pretty, but I dont cry when my t-case leaks oil on the floor.

I guess their definition of garage is a tad different than mine. That looks like a car house.

I think if you are going to have that kinda fine, Italian sports cars you should have a car house. <3
