Anyone else thinking about coming out to join us?

Kack, you going to come up?

It would be great to see some new faces. Crozet is a very small park where we can get around to lots of different areas with a wide variety of rigs in a group. There should be chances for everyone to play.

I'd like to do this, but my jeep is still in pieces. I fished all spring/summer/early fall, instead of working on the jeep.

Get to work! Are you still working on the front suspension? Is that the only project with it?

Front suspension--pretty much just needs welding and front driveshaft lenghtened. I also have to replace the transmission shifter cable. And the last time I had it out, there was a knock that seemed to be coming form somewhere in the bottom end of the motor. So priority is to get the front end back together, then run it a bit and find out if the motor is going to have to come out.
Oh yeah, and I need to make up a couple of lines for the steering.

Get your shit finished! More than once it's been mentioned you're missed on the trail.

I'm aiming to put it on this weekend maybe. Were you running spacers with the heims? i think theres 2 bolted to one of them but nothign with the others, trying to decide if i need to order some.

on the one side yes, had room there, no room for the spacer on the other end, but that was just my setup, yours might be different.

i dont imagine i will have room on the tie rod end since the width of the heim with spacers would be too wide for the tubing so hopefully the axle end will have enough misalignment

Gotta spend an hour or two on the Jeep before the trip, but it'll be easily ready before the weekend.

I wasn't able to swap weekends with my son due to him having the swine flu but his mother has agreed to take him this weekend. Now I just need to figure out why the zebra won't start or swap my tires to one of the other rigs.

I'm figuring I'll kill an hour after work packing rather then leaving straight from work and sitting in Baltimore/DC traffic.
