FYI/Trouble with MC

This really isn't a problem but it was unusual. I was reading Jacks for sale post, selling his truck. He linked to another message, selling his truck, trailer and camper, so I clicked on the link.

I then got the sign on screen, like I hadn't logged on or didn't have authorizatioin to view the page. I logged in again and it took me to the post.

Don't know why, but I thought I'd give the mods something to do on Labor Day.

User authentication does not carry between them, so if you're on one site and link to another, you will need to log in again on the new page.

You can change the settings on the BB to share authentication across domains.

You'll still be stuck between the *.marylandcreepers.com and *.mdcreepers.com since the cookies wont' carry.

Why don't ya'll pick one and 302 the other one back to it so people get used to just one name.

Anyway.. you can configure Vbulletin to accept cross-domain cookies.

Thanks for the tip Jack. Everything should now work fine between marylandcreepers.com and the www.marylandcreepers.com (http://www.marylandcreepers.com). unfortunately it's only across subdomains that you can share the cookies.... so I'll take care of the mdcreepers issue another way.
