So apparently when pulling a jeep up a mountain it won't get past 4th gear. I get through 1st 2nd and 3rd fine but hit 4th and it's done. Foot to the floor and it won't pick up speed and I have to go back onto 3rd.
I should be getting a call in the morning from Keene, I'm not happy at all. Like I told dodge, if it can't handle this they might as well take it back.

No idea nothing saying it is
Release the emergency brake. :)
Sure there is nothing wrong with the trailer brakes or truck brakes? I am sure the would be toast now if they were locked-up. The brake controller looked normal?
It towed fine on Sunday, right? What has changed?

Sounds like your DPF plugged. If I were you I would start researching emmissions deletes for that motor before its to late. All the 6.4 ford guys are having amazing performence and reliablity once they ditch the DPF, EGR, and get custom tunes.

should've bought a ford powerstroke, then you wouldn't have these problems. :flipoff2::flipoff2:

I think he was just referencing Fords because he works on them every day and he knows its job security! :D

lol i cant win with you guys :P
i drop it off tuesday, they need to find out whats wrong. at highway speeds i hit a small hill on 83 south and ill hit it at 70, with the foot to the floor ill top it at 63-65mph.
i told them if it cant handle 7000 lbs, then im fucked when it comes to the 13000 ill need to pull when the buggy's done. They will have to take it back.
I heard the new powerstrokes pick up over 100 lb/ft with a DPF delete. Sounds retarded to me. (To keep it)

yea but depending on the dealer it turns into a huge warranty issue.
mine will be coming off when i get it back from the dealer.

Got my truck back and they told me everything was with in spec, they went over everything and see no issues. They did update the flash, they said the version on my truck was F, and the version out was Q. so they updated me from F to Q and said there was a ton of updates done.
i will say it maybe just me but it feels alot stronger now. i dont get the hesitation after a shift like i used to. its pretty sweet. it will go from 1k rpm's to 3200 in 2nd thru 5th pretty fricking fast. i like it.
ill have to see what its like with my deckover behind it shortly.
