ball joint ream size?

does anyone know what is the correct size tapered ream for ball joints? i think its 7.15* or 1 1/2" per/ft via internet research. MSC and Grainger do not list them that way though. they are either a # size or just listed by actual dimensions. if i can find out, there is a very good chance that the machine shop at work will have one that i could borrow. but i need to know what to tell them.
