To All:
Its that time of the year again to announce the KGB 4 Wheelers 6 Annual Benefit, Krawlin for Kids. This year we will be helping the children of a fellow fallen Wheeler who lost his life this year. This individual had overcome many health and other problems and was doing good until his passing. He had no Life Insurance or any or type of Insurance. His wife and 2 Children are left without much, So this year after meeting with his 4 Wheel Drive club the KGB 4 Wheelers have decided to put on the Benefit for the family with the help of His club Team X-Rated. I hope you all can Attend. The Benefit will be at Rausch Creek Offroad Park again this year ( Thank you Bruce, Lynn and the Staff ) Saturday October 10th.We will be beating on Sponsors doors again for Door prizes and Big Ticket Raffles as in the past. we will also have 50/50 drawings. If you are a Sponsor and would like to help/ Donate, please post up or leave us a note on our website www.kgb4wheelers.com. We will be selling T-shirts. This year there will be a food vendor with good deals on food all day and night, and we will have a live DJ spinning the tunes for you. ALL of the proceeds from the benefit will go 100% to the Family ( we do not give it to Organizations). You have helped us help people and Families for the past 6 yrs and hope we can count on you again this year. Hope to see you there.
Thanks
James Herrell ( kgb vice pres.)

If you are coming to Big Dogs you can give it to me then. If not give me a call and we can get someone to pick it up or you can drop it by Appalachain and we can get it when we pick up Mike's stuff.
Thanks again guys. Without the support we receive from everyone else we would never be able to pull these benefits off.

I plan to be there. Just a few small things to fix on the truck, haven't touched it since BD.
Calendar is empty; I might come wheel for a cause.

I got some wrenching to do, stripped the panels/skids down and dropped the atlas today because the allen bolts holding the clocking ring on had started to loosen up. Need to reinstall that, change a fuel pump and troubleshoot a misfire/crappy running motor.

Atlas is back in, drivetrain buttoned back up/race prepped, and the motor is running like a champ.
I also race prepped the suspension and steering tonight; a few odds and ends to finish up tomorow night and Saturday morning. Should be up Saturday afternoon/early evening.
I'll be there with the shocker riding shotty.

We'll be there Sat morning and staying the night. I was gonna be lazy and not set up the tent and and sleep in the bed of the truck. Obviously I would be using the Truck Bedzzzzzz. :D

I was just going to bring the car trailer and pass out in the cab of the truck. I think I will have the new tires for the enclosed mounted up so if you need somewhere to throw down an air matress there should be room in the trailer.
Good to know if it rains!

Although with the low being 40*, the truck cab with the heat on sounds good.

Another outstanding event! Gene, Bunny and the entire KGB crew, my hat's off to you all for your hard work in putting together an excellent event year after year! I had a great time and can't wait for next year.
I wheeled with Lou, Jack, Alan Grason and Pops. We had a great time hitting Rock Creek, Otter's Trail, Crawldaddy, Walk in the Park and then finished off on some of the trails over by the old office. This was my first time on Crawldaddy and I was not dissapointed. Nice steep off-camber trail with some Tellico style mud and rock wheeling. All did well on this trail, except I broke a shackle reverse hanger near the end, but I blame this failure on Lou. :flipoff2: Walk in the Park is a new trail located at the bottom of CV. This trail has very large boulders with matching very large holes and a steep moss covered exit. Needless to say, this was a challenge and a good time, all made it thru without incident.
Again excellent event and good times spent in the woods with good friends.

Awesome event guys!
I partied a little too hard Saturday night and was not feeling well at all on Sunday. I finished 2nd place in the rock race.
Good seeing everyone, and thanks to the KGB for being the club that does the most for the local fourwheeling community:thumbsup: You work hard and set the precedent for what other clubs should try to establish.
I had a great time as well. Why is it as much fun to let your buddy drive as to drive yourself? Anytime Alan!
I love wheeling with you guys. The weather was perfect. Everybody was in a great mood. Really nice.
I got very lucky at the raffle, which was timely considering that my Jeep's oil pressure is limiting the high-rev stuff I like to try.

Thanks to all the Creepers that came out to support our benefit. Without the support of clubs like yours we wouldn't be able to pull off our benefit each year.
